At Camp Moxie, every camper is an artist! Whether they love to paint, build, sing, dance, or take the stage, our creative and performing arts program gives campers room to use their imagination, try something new, and proudly share what they make.
Arts and Crafts
Campers paint, draw, sculpt, and craft with all kinds of materials, creating colorful projects they can’t wait to bring home and show off.
Ceramics
There’s nothing like getting your hands in the clay! Campers start with hand-building, shaping pinch pots, coil bowls, and their own original creations. As their skills grow, they move on to our pottery wheels, where they learn to center the clay and throw their own bowls, cups, and vases. Every project is glazed and fired in our kiln before it comes home. It takes a little patience, and the moment a lump of clay becomes something they made themselves is pure camp magic.
Jewelry Making
Beads, cords, and lots of color! Campers design bracelets and necklaces to wear, trade, and share with their new camp friends.
Woodworking
With careful guidance from our Specialists, campers measure, sand, build, and paint real wood projects, learning to use tools safely and taking pride in something they made with their own hands.
Digital Photography
Campers learn to see the world through a lens, practice framing the perfect shot, and capture camp memories from their own point of view.
Music and Dance
Campers sing, play, move, and groove! Whether they’re learning a new routine or making music together, campers build rhythm and confidence and have a great time doing it.
Drama, Theater, and Set Design
The spotlight is waiting! Campers play theater games, act out scenes, and rehearse alongside their friends. Behind the scenes, set design campers paint backdrops, build props, and help bring every story to life.
Activities are planned just right for each age, and campers entering grades 3–9 pick their favorites each week through our elective program.
